“Found this album again recently. In my glamorous rediscovery of full album play through’s, I’ve come to realise the power in sitting, listening and feeling. Truly, 44 minutes of this shit is simply not enough. The lulling synths that draw you in, the echoey first few notes of guitar - I am seriously hearing Sleep Token in there and it rocks my world. Bookending an album with two mood setting masterpieces is a fantastic experience. Draws you in, draws you out. I have been hearing lazy guitar licks and a chorus of ‘shine on you crazy diamond’ littering my mind for days now. Although the little mechanical buzzing and clicking song transitions may have had me wondering if I needed to replace my car’s sound system, I appreciate the commitment to the bit.
