the take
Recently, I've realized that I have a soft spot for albums from 1967, and Progressions by the short-lived band The Five Americans is no exception. It doesn't reinvent the wheel; it follows the path paved by more acclaimed records in the sunshine pop genre. Despite this, it's a catchy and bubbly record that I will definitely come back to. If you like The Monkees or The Mamas and the Papas, I think you are going to enjoy this album.
