This 1979 song by Engelbert Humperdinck, though he isn’t mentioned anywhere in the song’s credits on streaming platforms, is a perfect twist on the original work by adding some of that late 70s pizazz while retaining the elegance and grandeur that the song calls for. Personally, I believe Engelbert was at his best vocally, energetically, and musically during this era of his career, and it definitely shows in this number.
