I didn't even realize Allie X released a deluxe to her latest album on Halloween in 2024. I enjoyed the original album more than I thought I would, actually. Enter the deluxe edition, with ten extra tracks. Mainly consisting of remixes and alternate versions of some standard edition songs, these batch of songs are actually amazing in the grand scheme of things. Out of the two new original songs, "Our Lady of Sorrows" is the best one, as it definitely sounds like it could've made the original album with its sophisticated sound executed to near-perfection. The remixes are actual remixes that both draws inspiration from their original respective tracks, as well as sounding vastly different at the same time and still works. "Staying Power (Remix)" is my favorite addition to the album due to the opening bassline grabbing me in a chokehold. I find these new additions worthy of checking out, as they add new life to already great material that Allie X has made.
