“You And Your Lover” mixes the gentler, more intimate sound of Engelbert’s previous album and throws in a little bit of rock n roll and country. This is definitely his “coolest” albums and it’s a shame he didn’t continue on with this type of sound for longer. A few notable tracks include “Till You And Your Lover Are Lovers Again”, “Who’s That Look In Your Eye”, and “You Look Good On Me”, as well as “Two Lovers” with guest star Marilyn McCoo for an excellent duet.
