This album hits so hard it feels like it was made for me. So much of it feels reminiscent to other favorite bands of mine. I am ecstatic that he chose to explore this sound. It suits him incredibly well (each of his projects have suited him, he just continues to branch out and prove his range)! DECIDE rocked my world when it came out so the hype for this was massive. It was one of those first listens where I could feel my brain chemistry shifting in real time and I knew this album would become one of my all time favorites. NOT A SINGLE SKIP. Joe’s lyrics are beautiful and sometimes painful, but hope is the heartbeat of the album that carries you through. It makes me grateful to be alive! Seeing the happiness he radiated while touring this project was uplifting. One of my top bucket list items now is to hear him perform Egg live!
