We are so back. I may have been one of the biggest haters of NeverAlways, so going into this, I’ll admit I was a little jaded. I really didn’t want another half baked album of pop slop. But this feels like a true return to form while still refining everything that worked on their earlier albums. The vocals are front and center, and the mixing is an absolute masterclass.
