I don't even know how I missed this collab between SOB X RBE and Marshmello. Then again, I don't really care about Marshmello to begin with. It's a collab between two artists that I feel looks weird on paper. In actuality, it surprisingly works to an extent. Marshmello himself provides the beats that are a bit outside of his comfort zone to appease the rap trio and actually did a decent job. I will also add that the group showed a lot more chemistry on this brief EP that I predicted, though. However, I can't help but feel that the beats, while maintaining that Bay Area sound SOB X RBE came up with, sounds a bit more polished than usual. It's almost like they wanted the sound to become more mainstream while maintaining its urban appeal at the same time. The end result is something that is decent enough on its own (even if you include the group's flows/rhymes/adlibs), but nothing too crazy. It's not the worst thing they've ever put out, but truthfully, you aren't missing much if you don't listen to this.
