the take
This project was a unique one by G Perico. Instead of your standard deluxe adding new songs alone, Perico remixed songs that appeared on the original edition of "Tha Clicc House" ("Welcome to the Clicc House", "Heated Marble Floors") as well as added new songs ("Superstar"). As such, the only two songs that remained in their original form is "Clap" and "Suede Sectional", two tracks I've always enjoyed. As for the remixed tracks, they're an improvent over those versions heard on the original "Clicc House" project. They fit more of the true West Coast rap sound G Perico was going for this time around, which is a good thing because I was a bit iffy on the original album version. Other than that, it's about what you would expect from G Perico, lyrically speaking, which is fine with me. Personally, I'm cool with both because that just means more music for a fan of G Perico like myself.
