the take
Since "Serving", I've been WAITING for a collab project of sorts from Boldy James and Rome Streetz for freaking AGES, at this point. I can say that my prayers were answered, and we got this album (which was apparently leaked, but okay). This is your standard album you'd expect from Griselda Records' artists. Boldy and Rome both do what they do best, which is spit that realistic heat over completely suitable production for them. Save for "Man Hunt", as I couldn't find myself enjoying that all too much and wondering why they decided to go with that, this project is fucking amazing. "Like Biggie Did" is the best collaborative track on here for me, though everything else is up there as well. And while I liked Boldy James' solo track, Rome Streetz's solo is the best on the entire thing for me. I probably said a whole lot of nothing, but everything I said about either rapper on their respective projects in the past (that were good, btw) also applies here to an extent. If anything, this was one consistent project that should've gotten an official release. I'll take what I can get, though.
