the take
At first, I did what I always do, listened, loved it, and moved on, with the tracks naturally sliding into my top-played list. But during this full discography listen, this album hit completely different. It blew my socks off. I hate that Parker had to go through what he did to write this record, but I’m grateful he came out the other side and turned that pain into something so introspective and raw. While I love every album they’ve put out, Proper Dose stands apart, it’s the sound of growth, reflection, and survival all wrapped signature sound.
