the take
I am nowhere close to normal about this album. I listen to a lot of music, I love finding something new, even if it’s just a one time listen. THIS is something I keep going back to. Over and over and over. Calico stuck with me like gum on the bottom of my shoe and I find myself constantly comparing everything to it. I’m searching for reminders and feeling the echos of this album as I walk around feeling the gum get stuck. It’ll grab the ground and all the sudden I’ll remember hearing Ribbons and I have to listen to the whole thing cover to cover just to scratch the itch. This whole album aches from poking old bruises and growing pains, something old and something new. It hurts so good to listen to like staring into the sun. 100/10 if they’d let me rank it as such.
