ARIRANG

BTS

the take

The creator on YouTuber, boracity magazine, says it best. This album is a culmination of not only prior bts work, but also their solo works. You can find each members solo work within each track while still carrying that classic BTS sound. BTS has always been a group evolving with their sound, testing out many genre’s throughout their career. Something I can deeply appreciate about this album is it brings back the transition between songs where they flow seamlessly into the other. The most prominent times I remember hearing this is within punk albums, so it’s refreshing to have that brought back into mainstream. It’s exciting to have modern music become a full album listen once more. Arirang is a collaboration of past present and future proving that “thankfully between you and me nothing's changed” in reference to the relationship BTS has with ARMY.
