the take
I’m very happy with this album, especially from Taste Back to the end. It feels so true to Harry’s roots and his development as a singer, songwriter, and music producer. I feel like he’s really come into his own over the course of these last 2 albums, and even though some of them are still growing on me, they are so uniquely Harry in their musical integrity. I absolutely love his lyricism and music theory choices in the composition of these songs. Lots of inspiration from The Brothers Johnson that I picked up, especially in Dance No More. I love his dedication to his craft and honoring the music he loves/was raised on. HIGHLY recommend! Not a single skip in my opinion, just have to get the album on your palette to understand its originality and feel.
