one of laufey’s best hands-down. her nods to classical music just warm my heart, and her jazzy voice is just like smooth caramel. her lyrics are enchanting and heartbreakingly laufey, and her instrumentals are unlike any other artist i’ve seen. faves are definitely snow white, forget-me-not and a cautionary tale, with honourable mentions to silver lining and carousel. her interlude is charming and the motifs in full classical instrumental is just beautiful. a deserved grammy and one of her most magnetic albums yet.
