"Be Me" being the title of Desiigner's latest project is ironic as fuck, if you think about it. But before I get to that, let me just say that I've had the displeasure of listening to a Desiigner project in 2025. In all honesty, this is the very first Desiigner project I've listened to in full, so I call that an accomplishment of some sorts. That said, this was a dull project on all fronts. The production on every single track here sounds extremely bland and basic to me. None of them made me bob my head even a little bit; instead, it made me question my life decision at the time of listening. Now, as I said before, "Be Me" is ironic because Desiigner has always came off as a diet Future to me... but lacking talent. (It was evident from day one with "Panda", but whatever.) It's even worse here, especially because it felt like I took a time machine back to 2016 with his mediocre music. Jesus fucking Christ, does Desiigner even have fans in 2025? Will Desiigner make a worse project than this? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z! On a serious note, though, this is trash as fuck. Save yourself the listen.
