It would be difficult and or impossible to not make the parallel between Gruntruck and Soundgarden in the early days of louder than love and the two pieces that are put together in one album from the production to the singers’s voice, it is a lot like Soundgarden. That being said this band had a lot of great tracks on this album standouts include inside yours and so long, really cool riffs and just overall great songwriting they really don’t make them like that anymore. It will be interesting to see where they split off from Soundgarden seeing that they are basically starting in the same place which maybe something in the water at that time this album was 1992 versus Soundgarden as loud in love which has the most parallel is 1989 so we’ll see where their career takes them seeing that they have Al staying up 2017. I am curious to learn some of the bands history and see what their Seattle sound brought for them and upon them.
