the take
I’ve got a theory that a band’s best albums come when they barely know who they are, and they’re trying to make it big. Once they’ve got 87 million pounds in the bank, the magic of their music that resonated before begins to inexplicably fade away. This album is a testament to that theory. Stand By Me, Don’t Go Away, D’You Know What I Mean? (Bag preferred) All Around the World, but it was written in 1992. Fade-In Out because Johnny Depp is on the slide guitar.
