Seems like this week was the week of debut album listens by me. Thoroughly enjoying my time in the world of indie rock/pop right as summer approaches. Setting the mood right for an absolute banger Indie Summer. Nowhere To Be again like Winyah’s debut album has some great highs but the growing pains limit my overall enjoyment of the project. Easy Love and Laught It Off are my two favorites in the record, but the rest isn’t super far behind. Definitely hits the college indie rock vibe I’m always looking for and I only hope that they polish their sound a tad more before their next release. If they do that then they’ll become a staple in this scene, I can feel it.
