I Might Be Wrong

Radiohead

the take

The album is interesting but slight. It captures Radiohead at a moment where they’re deliberately avoiding spectacle, instead leaning into atmosphere and reinterpretation. The result is cohesive, but also a bit distant, it never fully explodes in the way a great live album often does. And then there’s True Love Waits. Stripped down to voice and acoustic guitar, it’s the emotional centrepiece and easily the most affecting moment here. Without the band’s usual layers, Yorke’s vulnerability becomes unavoidable. The song feels fragile, almost unfinished, as if it could collapse under its own weight at any moment, and that’s exactly what makes it so powerful. It’s not just the highlight of the record; it’s one of the most quietly devastating performances in their catalogue. I Might Be Wrong works best not as a grand live document, but as a snapshot of a band in flux. Fav Track True Love Waits
