He tried something new, and I kind of wish he didn’t. I can always appreciate a new artistic taste on someone’s discography. But disco was not the next step for Harry Styles. It wasn’t offensively bad, but it wasn’t good either. Disco has been killed by so many others, it feels like maybe he should have let them be. It was quite a slog to get through at parts when the same beats kept repeating over and over. I think that Taste Back is a standout, but everything else mostly fell to the wayside. A real shame considering he took so much time off before this release. But if it makes him happy than who am I to judge? Best tracks: Taste Back and Coming Up Roses
