I couldn’t pick a favourite, this album is just absolutely perfect. I’ve listened to him my whole life, but never sat down with this album. It’s one of the greatest albums I’ve ever had the privilege of gracing me. It’s got soul, fire, passion, sex appeal, soaring vocals and ripping guitar. Double Trouble is a crazy talented backing duo and perfect for Stevie. I loved every song, even the Mary Had a Little Lamb, but couldn’t believe how incredible Dirty Pool, Testify and especially Lenny were. I’m in a band with my dad, and a standard(s) of ours is Pride and Joy, along with Texas Flood, so I was already intimately familiar and appreciative of them. But man, Lenny is just so beautiful. One of the best guitar songs ever. A new favourite, top 10 from the 1980s across all genres. A masterpiece. Fav Track(s) Pride and Joy / Lenny
