Selfish Machines (Reissue)
“Pierce the veil is modern rock Shakespeare I swear. This album is so damn romantic. I could go on a tangent about how romantic all their music is. But wow. My favorite track is the new national anthem.”

Selfish Machines (Reissue)
“What's crazy is I recently discovered that people consider Vic Fuentes whiny. I can definitely see/hear that now, but it doesn't make "Selfish Machines" any less impressive. If anything, being whiny adds more authenticity to said album. Pierce the Veil crafted an album that's both well within the niche of pop-punk/emo subgenres while also being easily accessible commercially. The tracks on here made for an amazing re-listen, especially since said tracks' production accompanied with guitar riffs perfectly encapsulate the emo sound of the early-2010's that I wasn't really into at the time (but have/had plenty of friends who were). Sure, after a while, it may sound like each song blends in with one another, but is it really a bad thing if you still enjoy the body of work? The one song that's always stuck out to me is "The New National Anthem"; it was always a standout banger for me, and still is to this day. It's only right if I play this album from top to bottom instead of on shuffle, though, so I can relive how amazing this body of work is. If anything, "Selfish Machines" solidified me as a fan of Pierce the Veil.”

The Jaws Of Life
“being an og pierce the veil fan i was very skeptical when the single pass the nirvana came out after them not releasing any music for 8 YEARS AND I THOUGHT THEY WOULD NEVER PLAY MUSIC TOGETHER AGAIN but then i was surprised at how amazingly good the song was!! i love that ptv can go any direction in their sound and they still sound like them. not a lot of bands can do that *cough cough* when sleeping with sirens came out with that Legends album and it completely sucked and was terrible *cough cough* but then you guys redeemed yourselves with Complete Collapse that i’m OBSESSED WITH. see guys? you learned from your mistakes and went back to your roots and went even harder and it’s been amazing to here them grow in their sound as well since that awful album i shall never speak of again. i’m a loyal sws AND ptv fan but sws…ya’ll knew it was terrible. but again, you learned from your mistakes and are making hella good music again and i really do appreciate and love you guys. :)”
