Met hun ongrijpbare mix van genres, ijzersterke live shows en een flinke dosis Haagse Bluf hebben Milo Driessen, Karel Gerlach en De Het Boaz zich in recordtempo ontwikkeld van cult favorieten tot supersterren. Na hun multi-platina bekroonde debuutalbum Betaalbare Romantiek en iconische festival shows op onder andere Lowlands, Rock Werchter en Pukkelpop, blijft de Haagse popgroep grenzen verleggen. Zo wonnen ze de Popprijs, waren ze Best Dutch Act bij de MTV Awards en scoorden ze met Stiekem (ft. Maan) de grootste Nederlandstalige Top 40 hit ooit. In 2024 kwam het langverwachte tweede album Samen Tegen Elkaar uit. Hailing from the town of Nordhausen, Maroon first emerged in 1998 and, by 2001, had recorded a demo, a pair of split releases, and an EP entitled Captive in the Room of the Conspirator -- each to greater acclaim than the last. 2002 found vocalist Andre Moraweck, guitarists Sebastian Grund and Marc Zech, bassist Tom Eric Moraweck, and drummer Uwe Gruse recording their debut album, Antagonist, then touring with metal and hardcore bands alike (Napalm Death, Hatebreed, Agnostic Front, etc.) across Europe, and as far away as South America and Japan.
