the take
The five extra songs added to Denzel Curry's latest mixtape-turned-album don't really add much to the original project itself. That's not to say that they aren't worthwhile additions, though. In a sense, the extra songs kind of represent a further evolved sound that combines both the MMESYF-era and KOTMS-era of Denzel Curry. My favorite bonus track is obviously "STILL IN THE PAINT", but that's because it sampled one of my favorite trap songs of all-time, Waka Flocka Flame's "Hard in da Paint". Overall, though, I'm content with the new material on here, plus it's always good to have more tracks from the original standard edition grow on me from when I first (finally) listened to this back in September 2024 to now (March 2025 as of this review).
