Past Junts

Devilish Trio

the take

Looking back, "Past Junts" might be one of those projects I either didn't really care for or understood for the longest. Is it crazy to think I still have the same belief and still think this project is amazing? Considering the title alone, I will assume that this is truly a compilation (obviously). That said, each track sounds different in one another to kind solidify that there's really no cohesive style that Tenngage lean towards. With both Baker Ya Maker and Hydra to a lesser extent, the lyrics doesn't really hit as hard consistently here for me, but when they do, they reach my soul. "Cycle of Death" and "Distorted Reality" are two standouts that possesses me every time I listen, while "Hellraisers" is just one of those ones that puts Tenngage front and center to show the world his producing skills (which is actually amazing). Actually, though, the compilation starts off just good, but picks up after "Cycle of Death" and never really regressed all too much by the end. "Past Junts" is something I didn't completely grasp the first listen, but I just realized that there are more highs on here than I remembered.
