the take
This changed my life omg you had to be there. Out of all her pre-2020 albums, is it crazy to say this one aged the best? Maybe it’s cause her and Victoria Monet work amazing together, but the vulnerability and/or attitude in the lyrics combined with the trap pop sound allows a song for pretty much anyone to enjoy. Also I feel like in general Ari does so well with making albums cohesive, I’ve never listened to a track and thought, hm this doesn’t fit the other songs.
banger
obsession
late-night drive
unhinged
nostalgic
no skips
scream-in-the-car
heartbreak anthem
on repeat
