the take
This album is a marathon. It blasts your ears with an eclectic, but organized production Peggy is famous for, the second half carries the same general themes while slowing it down. First time this album could seem difficult to get through with its neck, breaking changes in vibe, but I found it to be oddly well paced. Although it’s not perfect, it held my attention for the whole length of the album leaving me with many moments of amazement. If you like JPEGMAFIA you’ll like this if you don’t like him, you won’t.
