the take
It's crazy how this album as a whole grew on me in the time I first listened to it up until the present day. While I didn't understand it at first, I can definitely say I appreciate JPEGMAFIA's experimentation by doing whatever the hell he wants and succeeding in doing so. That's why I was lowkey excited and shocked that he released a "DIRECTORS CUT" of the album that fully displays Peggy's vision of the album. (Moreso the Bandcamp version, but I digress.) This feels more complete in a sense, as I'm a fan of the transitions and mixing that makes this feel more complete. Still fucking amazing when it's all said and done.
