“best selling album of all time what can you really say? the paul mccartney duet on this is what holds it back from being a perfect 10 because it’s honestly a bit of a snooze. even then, the duet went on to inspire the brandy and monica hit ‘the boy is mine’ and subsequently, the ariana grande version. edit: i like the girl is mine now. it grew on me but say say say is their better duet either way, it feels criminal to not give this a 10 but i will say it is a 100 in terms of cultural impact. like this track list is classic after classic, and truly defined what it is to achieve pop super stardom. will there ever be another artist to do it like this?”

“if someone likes Michael’s Off The Wall, i’d recommend this album. it has a similar upbeat feel, but with the beautiful harmonies of The Jacksons i’ve only heard people talk about this album in the context of Michael’s life but it’s worthy of so much more praise because it’s genuinely so fun, groovy, with a passionate core fav tracks: heartbreak hotel / wondering who / walk right now least fav tracks: everybody / time waits for no one”
