the take
Not a complete departure from short and sweet. Instead this album builds off of the foundation and sounds she established. I enjoy the country twang in songs like man child, but I think this is where her flirtation with country should end. I think her other tracks that dig into other sounds like post-disco, with House Tour, and R&B influence, with When Did You Get Hot?, are stronger and fit Sabrina’s fun flirty vibe. Overall a solid record.
